Fae Profile

She hasn't always had this peaceful life; before Santa Cruz she studied abroad in Paris, entertained as a magician and balloon twister for the past 8 years, tutored children on the autism spectrum in San Francisco, nannied for several families, and was a counselor for 5 years at Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp.

Her younger years were spent on the stage as the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland, a soprano singer in her school choir, and an oboist, flutist, and percussionist in an orchestra.

Her inspiration for starting Happily Ever Laughter came when she noticed all the characters provided at parties were the same characters on the lunch boxes, TV, and movie screens.  Fae wanted to remind children that they don't all have to be the same princess, the same Snow White or Cinderella, but their own unique view on what a princess or any imaginary character could be.  She understands that each child is different, and that is why her characters are different.  Her clowns don't have red noses or scary wigs, and her princesses don't look like Sleeping Beauty.
They are the characters from her own imagination.

"We were extremely pleased with Fae! Not only was she very professional and responsive to all my emails, the kids and parents loved her. She did an excellent job of staying in character and she did a great job on the face painting and balloon animals. We got many compliments on her and some of our friends are already asking how we found her and how to book her."

"Thank you very much for making my daughter Natalia's 3rd birthday party so special! All of her friends were delighted by your presence and all of us parents were marveled by your talent. More than one of my friends commented on your natural "fairy" way, your grace, and how we were all drawn to watch you interact with our children. I will highly recommend you to anyone who appreciates art, uniqueness, grace, and natural beauty.

No doubt that I will see you in another of Natalia's birthday parties.

Thank you so so much!!"
"As soon as she arrived, it was all about the children. She was engaging and all the girls (and my 2 year old son) were enthralled. The magic is simple and just right for a young audience. The balloon animals were adorable and the face painting was fabulous! The kitten face was especially popular and she used colors to match what the girls were wearing. We were very impressed with how she interacted with her audience. She didn't break character so it was all about being there for the kids. Thank you! "

"Fairy Fae came into the party very well prepared. Her "tricks" really entertained not only the kids but also the grown-ups. She's not only very nice but also a very pretty fairy. I would recommend "Happily Ever Laughter Parties" to all my friends. P.S. Sorry, I forgot to offer you to eat. :("
"Faerie Fae was fantastic! My girls were absolutely enchanted. The business part was handled very well as well. I appreciated the confirmations and the e-mails regarding any special requests. I highly recommend Happily Ever Laughter for party entertainment."
Amazing performance. All the kids loved her [the Fae the Pirate]. From Magic show, to balloon twisting, and face painting, kids were happy and engaged in activies around her. Many parents @ the party asked me for the contact of the performer, which I happily passed on. Simply 10 out of 10.
"The face painting designs were 1st class all the way. She was excellent with the kids. She really listened to what each wanted and she handeled all 36 requests with ease. I couldn't recommend her more, just fantastic!"
Fae Diddle Diddle, our founding faerie, rests her head in the Santa Cruz redwoods, way up high in the mountains.  Her time in the up there is spent playing the banjo, learning to play the musical saw, and sewing together her ideas for new costumes.
She is constantly perfecting her magic skills and running the treehouse headquarters for Happily Ever Laughter.
