"A couple of quick notes. We had the best time and everyone loved Miss Luna - she was amazing!!! Everyone asked where we found her. Next time I will get some business cards. I just wanted you to know that a few people mentioned it was their best party ever, my husband said it was one of the happiest days of his life, another mentioned what a "cool" party it was, and even people without children commented on how much fun they had. Thank you. I also wanted to write and see if we could find out where or what type of makeup Miss Luna uses. Our daughter has tons of skin issues and we are always trying to find a great facepaint for her that won't irritate her skin. The makeup Miss Luna used seemed a very nice professional grade and we were wondering if we could get the details from you.
Thank you again and please let Miss Luna know how much fun we had and how absolutely amazing she was, even in the middle of the hottest day of the year. She was perfect!!

From Facebook.com "A big THANK YOU to Miss Luna who was absolutely fantastic at my daughter's birthday party. She was so wonderful to paint not only the children, but some of the adults (who are children at heart). I received a particularly beautiful butterfly! The puppet show she put on was magical and the children were absolutely spellbound, which was so fun to see. The fantastic balloon animals were just the icing on the cake. All the kids had a great time and I think their parents did too. We couldn't have done it without you Miss Luna!"
From YELP.com "From start to finish these folks were pros and made the whole process easy and fun. Booking them was just a simple phone call. I had waited until three weeks before to book them, so they were very accomodating and found me a travelling faerie. I had to pay an additional travel fee (which was very reasonable), but if you are on the ball (not like me) and book far enough in advance this won't happen to you. They confirmed via e-mail that same day (peace of mind) and then a week before they sent me an e-mail with the name of my performer again confirming. For a mom with lots on her mind -- this was a very good thing. Then the day before the faerie called me to confirm date, time, location and the performance. She was so accomodating to change to a puppet show since all the kids were pretty small -- but explained that the puppet show would still have magic -- PERFECT!
So, Miss Luna came to my daughter's 2nd Birthday party last weekend and was FABULOUS! She was gracious and accomodating with some schedule changes. She was so wonderful with face painting that the adults had to get in on it and it made time run a little short for the magic show. But not to worry, Miss Luna was a pro, she not only painted all the faces (beautifully, I might add), but she threw herself into a spirited magic puppet show that had all the kids (and adults) captivated and laughing.
She was wonderful with all the kids (even when my daughter was getting into all her paints) and made a second balloon animal for my cousin's daughter who loved her poodle a little too hard. Everyone (and I mean everyone) at the party came up to me and asked me how I had found the faerie and to say what a great idea it was and how wonderful she had been. Cannot give high enough marks for Miss Luna and Happily Ever Laughter. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
**And to some of the prior reviews that had mentioned that it was pricey - I respectfully disagree -- I think it is an amazing value considering that they travel to your home and entertain everyone and make a party really special. Well worth every penny!"

I've had bad experiences in the past with face painting at birthday parties. Granted, the face painting was not the focus of these parties: we had one party at a venue with a helper who I am sure had never done face painting before in his life, and the 4-year-olds all looked like they'd painted their faces themselves. Since then I've always been on the lookout for someone with real talent.
Recently my older daughter went to a party and came back with the most AMAZING face painting (actually, it was on her arm) from a Happily Ever Laughter fairy, and I knew I had found what I was looking for!
The 5-star reviews are all justified. The website is wonderful, very professional, and booking online is easy. We signed up to have Miss Luna help with my younger daughter's rock'n'roll party.
Miss Luna arrived to help get the kids in the spirit of the party, and the kids all stopped in their tracks when she came in her beautiful fairy costume. She did an outstanding job! She got right to work painting little faces and the kids looked fantastic. The parents were all impressed and the kids were enchanted. Each child had a unique design: Miss Luna did amazing princess/fairy/flower designs for the girls, and pirate/Paul Stanley stars for the boys. And she was lovely, pleasant and wonderful. Will definitely come back to Happily Ever Laughter for future celebrations!"

"Miss Luna arrived promptly at 11:15 AM for my son Jack's b-day party. Parents including ourselves were quite impressed with her artful face painting and how quickly she made balloons for the kids. Although my son got a little frightened a bit (through no fault of Miss Luna) during her magic show, Miss Luna had all the kids' attention and the kids were fully engaged which was really nice to see! Miss Luna did a fantastic job! Thank you!"

From Facebook...."We had Miss Luna for our twin daughters' 1st birthday party this last Sunday, Dec.18th. SHE WAS FABULOUS!!!! Her face paintings are so amazing. She's supposed to do muppet show and balloon twisting, but her face painting was so popular so we just ask her to face paint for the rest of the party. She was so patient and smiled and socialized the whole time. I think the adults had more fun than the kids ;) THANK SO MUCH for making Lianna and Sophia's 1st Birthday memorable !!!"
