Miss Meadow. Oh, my. The first day I met her (hi, this is Fae Diddle Diddle writing...*wink*), within a few seconds of meeting each other, I knew she'd be a perfect fit in our Faerie world. Not only did she sound just like a real faerie, her fun red curly hair and pixie features made her look like she fell out of a fantasy book!
Meadow took our Faerie world by storm. By the end of her first year, she had performed so many times that she won a special award at our annual Faerie gathering (Faeries have company parties, too!). When the award was introduced, ("this particular performer has performed at over 200 celebrations this year...") she had no idea it was her. The moment her name was mentioned, she clasped her hand over her mouth and was absolutely stunned! It was a really wonderful moment *smile*.
Now Meadow helps us here in the Tree House with organizing all of our visits to celebrations, as well as teaches our fellow Faeries how to spruce up their face painting skills (she is a fantastic teacher, and never stops learning new things!).
On top of being a true blue full time professional Faerie, she is also...a mommy! Hooray for mommies! One day she asked her youngest child where he thought she was going every time she got ready for 'work'. He looked at her with all sincerity and said, "...you go to your castle, where you are a princess. Mommy, you are a princess!".
