Miss Olive

    Miss Olive has flown into our faerie family from a world of theatre and laughter. One thing you can be sure of, you can always hear her singing! There is never a moment when a song is not playing in her head. Did you guess it? Put theatre and music together and what do you get? That's right! She LOVES musicals! She, unreservedly, would sit and watch them all day long if she could...or be in them!

When not spreading her magical wings and sparkles with all of her faerie friends, she attends human college and is currently in pursuit of a degree in Theatre. She has received an Elly Award and a nomination for her acting in the Sacramento region. Someday, her dream is to be on a Broadway stage fearlessly singing, dancing and acting. Even if she is doing three plays at a time, she finds time to study! She once heard the phrase, “You should never stop learning”, a long long time ago and has stuck to it ever since. In addition to her pursuing her degree, she takes Psychology courses just for fun.

        She loves seeing beaming smiles on children's faces when they have been touched by a little magic! She has done numerous children's theater performances and spends part of her week touring to elementary schools around Sacramento with a graffiti abatement show that promotes making the right choices.

        In addition to acting, Olive has played flute since the age of 9, she even plays trombone too! She was able to put her love of music to use by spending 3 whole summers at Cazadero Music Camp teaching flute and piccolo to children. A funny side note, Miss Fae Diddle Diddle (our head faerie) was taught by the same music teacher as Miss Olive!
